Spectrolaser 4000
The Spectrolaser 4000 is a new high-performance version of the original Spectrolaser. Higher spectral resolution lowers the detection limits for most elements and improves analysis precision and accuracy in complex matrices. This instrument is now our general purpose instrument for analysis requirements in demanding multi-element applications such as coal, minerals, and metal alloy analysis.
In the standard format the Spectrolaser 4000 is supplied with a 2-axes linear scanning mechanism that scans the sample in front of the laser. Scanning in a 2D grid pattern further improves analysis precision as the maximum surface area is included in the measurement. Averaging across the sample increases measurement precision without affecting greatly the analysis time.
Also available are 3-axis scanning formats or manual position stages. Multiple report formats and graphical displays are available for convenient presentation of analytical results.
