A Revolutionary New Elemental Analysis System

The Spectrolaser fits comfortably on a standard laboratory bench. Mains power is the only service required.
Typically measurements are performed in laboratory air. An additional buffer gas system increases the sensitivity to some elements and allows direct measurement of oxygen and nitrogen levels in materials.

Software

A data analysis methodology and sampling protocol have been developed that increase the accuracy and precision of the laser method to such an extent that it is now similar to that obtained when using comparative analysis technologies.

An easy to use control program enables materials analysis, comparison of data to calibration standards, file saving and the printing of reports.

The software allows the operator to set:

  • Laser power
  • Laser Burn-off (a surface cleaning method prior to analysis)
  • Measurement sensitivity
  • Specific elements or wavelength regions

Expert Analysts can extract more information by:

  • Constructing comparisons to calibration samples
  • Using deconvolution to unravel measurements from complex matrices
  • Calculating measurement precision

Easy to use software wizards allow setting of all instrument control parameters including scan and laser settings.
